About
Hello—we’re Matt and Brooke Holcomb.
We live in Southeast Arkansas, where we are raising our two daughters, Whitlee Ray Holcomb and Adlee Jo Holcomb, alongside our two dogs. As a family, we enjoy exploring Arkansas’s hidden waterfalls, traveling to places we’ve never been, and serving our local church, SSBC.
You may be wondering what led us to create this foundation. Sadly, our journey here was shaped by profound loss. We have experienced two pregnancy losses of our own. In 2021, we lost our firstborn son, Myles Cleiburn Holcomb, at six months. The following year, in 2022, we lost what was meant to be our rainbow baby, Mattisyn “Matti” Pearl, also at six months.
To say we were devastated feels like an understatement. During that season, we struggled to understand why this had happened and how to move forward. One thing that carried us through was giving back and connecting with other families who had experienced loss. Hearing their stories reminded us that we were not alone—and that shared understanding can be incredibly powerful.
After losing Myles, we knew we wanted to dedicate our time to supporting others walking this same heartbreaking path. We saw a space that often feels isolating and underserved, and we felt called to help change that. Our hope was to create a community rooted in compassion—one that offers support, understanding, and hope to families navigating the worst moments of their lives.
We are deeply grateful you’re here. Through this foundation, we will continue hosting events and providing financial support where it’s needed most to serve the bereavement community. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our story, and we invite you to check back often for updates as we continue this mission together.
